Not so ancient ceramics
A study tour to China was inspiration for the 2009 exhibition "'Ooh Lah, Lacy Legs". The "not so ancient 3-legged vessels" relate to the Chinese Ting and the sculptural forms to the ceramic pillows used in China in the Sung dynasty.
Urban Vessels
The work "Urban Vessels" was inspired by the architecture of the ever expanding skyline of the Surfers Paradise Highrise buildings on the Gold Coast, Australia.
